Equipment Advice Service

Durham County Council's Equipment Advice Service provides information to help people live independently and work with individuals to help them in their home. THer specialist staff offer impartial advice over the telephone or by E-Mail to anyone who lives in County Durham.

They can:

  • Advise you about specific equipment and services.
  • Send out brochures or information which may be useful to you.
  • Help you find products, information and suppliers.

DDS Patron - Matt Baker

MattBaker.pngDDS are delighted to welcome Matt Baker presenter of 'The One Show' and 'Countryfile' as their patron.  Matt is a local man having spent his early childhood living in Easington before his parents bought a farm in the West of Durham.  Matt has previously been a presenter on the popular children's programme 'Blue Peter' and I'm sure that most of you can remember his success as a former finalist on Strictly Come Dancing.
